About Us

The founders of The Fatigue of Excellence are proud US Army veterans.

They are also surgeons who trained in an era during which a 120-hour work week and going months at a time without a day off were the norm.

Despite this grueling schedule, they are both multiple Ironman triathlon finishers, often waking at 3am to complete workouts.

It’s fair to say they know something about disregarding fatigue in order to pursue and achieve one’s goals.  They know that excellence requires effort, discipline, and discomfort.  They know that the easy way is never the right way, at least not for them.

They also know they are not alone.  There are those who are like minded, who reject ease and rest in the pursuit of excellence.

If that’s you, we welcome you here.

They also realize that most people say they want to be excellent.  There are few who are willing to pay the price required, though.

If you’re someone who spends a little too much time seeking comfort and dreaming of what could be, it’s time to take a good hard look in the mirror.   If you really want to make a change believe us when we tell you NOW is the time.

It’s never too late to move toward your full potential.

It’s never too late to embrace

The Fatigue of Excellence.
